Mock Baptism
Recently during assembly Reverend Smith performed a ‘mock’ baptism
in order to help us understand the significance of joining the Christian Church.
It was very similar to the actual thing because we had a real baby on the day!
Children in Class 4 pretended to be the parents and godparents.
Acting out the baptism will help us to remember what happens
in church when a baby is baptised; it was also much more fun that just being told about it.
