Croft Scarecrow Exhibition June 2006
Children from a mixture of classes were keen to design and make this year’s entry for the scarecrow
exhibition. They wanted their design to be topical and the most popular choices were Wayne Rooney or
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2nd! It was a close vote but Royalty ruled and Britain’s sporting hero
came a close second!!!!
Class 2 were mainly responsible for designing and making the Queen’s Corgi, Class 3 did an excellent
job of recreating the Crown Jewels and Class 4 helped to sculpt and decorate The Queen’s head.
Well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to the Out of School Club for the loan of ‘Her Majesty’s
robe and designer pearls!
